Most of us live a stressful life, overloaded with work in order to compete with others. Stress is the gateway to mental and emotional ailments, which in turn create real and physical health problems. However, there are ways to cope, without resorting to harmful drugs or medication. More than ever before, meditation is a great option when considering stress relief techniques, in order to help maintain a healthy and happy life.

Traditional meditation focuses on objects, like a candle, or your breath. Your mind and body relaxes resulting in the experience of inner peace. The more you are focused the better the results. Meditation develops your concentration levels. Many people believe meditation is not right for them. do you need to have a ‘nasty and trecherous’ side to you, ready to be activate within a split second notice – outside in todays world ?

Last year in my last I.T related job as a Datawarehouse Analyst – a senior who laid off 5 of us, including myself told me – ” sorry mate but if you haven’t got a bit of a nasty or trecherous side to you, you won’t survive out there – you’ll get chewed within seconds “.

He told us all this – as his choice of words as a final farewell, which was odd I felt as I found no inspiration or motivation from that c#nts quote whatsoever.

How big does my INDOOR Koi pond need to be?

Hello. I’ve seen some questions answered about keeping Koi in an indoor aquarium vs. outdoor pond. However, I’m hoping for some pragmatic guidance on an indoor pond. I live in a modern home with a large atrium between the entryway and the actual house. The atrium can be viewed from my dining room, living room and my home office with floor to ceiling windows. The atrium has a retractable roof that is 15′ x 15′. There’s about a 5′ perimeter around the opening that overhangs a border on the floor that is currently occupied by a deep bed of soil with many plants. These ‘planter’ areas are about 2.5′ wide and vary in lengths.

I am thinking of putting a koi pond in one of the ‘planters’. There’s one that is 2.5′ wide and 19′ long. I test dug and the depth I could reasonably reach is 3′. It wouldn’t be realistic to be 3′ for the entire pond though. More doable would be a slope on each end with about a 5 foot section that is of that 3′ depth.

Had Rosacea since senior high. Ever since I’ve been seeing derm with some success but I always end up coming back, either the product stopped being effective, or product had recieved a ban from the FDA. Also did light therapy session with little improvement.

I’ve used atleast 6 different topical cream just for rosacea, all if not most contain some sort of steroid and other chemicals I am afraid to have on my skin in the long term.

Well I just wanted to let you know things that I’ve been observing and doing for the past year that has helped me so much with my diagnosis of bipolar which comes with depression and anxiety. Seriously, I can’t even sleep for days without my heavy loads of medication, but these ways of doing things really helps with all of this. At first I thought it wouldn’t help then, I just tried and found it really helped. Here are some things that naturally helps that you can do on your own.

First of all never call your self sick or label yourself. You must accept yourself also. Just treat yourself for your symptoms, like a cold in a way. Notice your symptoms, like when you notice a cough, treat it, but don’t obsess over it, and you’ll notice improvement the best. Remember things can always be worse so make the most of what you can as you try to improve your situation.

I’m 32 yrs old and in the last 2-3 months I have been rapidly losing my hair. I went to my dr.’s office to have it check out and all he came up with was that women at this age go through hormonal changes which can sometimes also cause hair loss, thought I was under a lot of stress and therefore prescribed some anxiety-relief medication and then ran a blood panel to rule out an under & over-active thyroid and lupus disease. My tests results came out just fine. Yes, its alarming to lose your hair – I now can see what guys might go through or feel. I’ve already had fine, thin hair, but now this!!! Argh! What should I do? I feel if I wait any longer it is only going to get worse. What if anything should I try or rule out that I haven’t looked into? Any suggestions?? Thanks for your help!!! :|
